Island Party Band! Together 2026

On Saturday, September 26, we're returning to Cannon Distillery for another night of good music, dancing, food, cocktails and friends. But this time we'll also be joined by five nonpartisan candidates for Charleston County School Board, running in five different districts.

They are different people with different campaigns, but they share some important ideas about what our public schools need: Strong Schools. Shared Governance. Student Centered.

We're going to give each of them a couple of minutes during our break to introduce themselves and tell you why they're running. And I promise - a couple of minutes means a couple of minutes. Then we'll get back to the music.

This is also an opportunity to support these candidates. Each campaign will have its own QR code available, and anyone who wants to invest in one - or more - of them can contribute directly to that campaign.
